A plain-language summary of what we collect when you contact us, and how we use it.

Who we are
Hali Lynea Events is a wedding and private event planning business based in New York City. You can reach us at hali@halilyneaevents.com.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Inquiry form. Your name, email address, phone number (optional), partner's name or company (optional), event date, venue or location, estimated guest count, the service or event type you're interested in, how you heard about us, and your message. The form also records the page that referred you to our site and any campaign tags in the link you clicked, so we can understand which channels bring us inquiries.
- Scheduling. If you book a consultation through the embedded Calendly scheduler, Calendly collects the details you enter there (name, email, meeting time) under Calendly's privacy notice (opens in a new tab). Calendly may set its own cookies inside the scheduler.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes standard server information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
How we use it
We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, schedule and hold consultations, and plan your event if you hire us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Form submissions are stored by Netlify (our website host and form provider) and delivered to our email. Consultation bookings are stored by Calendly. Only Hali Lynea Events has access to these accounts. We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, to plan your event.
Cookies and analytics
Our own pages do not set tracking cookies and do not run advertising or analytics scripts. Fonts are served from our own site. The embedded Calendly scheduler may use cookies as described in its notice. Links to Google, Instagram, Facebook, The Knot and Calendly take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the information you've sent us at any time by emailing hali@halilyneaevents.com. You can book a consultation by email instead of the scheduler if you prefer not to use Calendly.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
